Note: Always make a backup copy before edit a game file.
Type the following from the DOS prompt for unlimited lives:

ren airball.exe cheat.cht
debug cheat.cht
e 304c 90 90 90 90
Then type:
w
q

Then rename CHEAT.CHT back to airball.exe
