Hex Cheat
Go to your Ascendancy directory in DOS, and create a new empty
text file. Give the following file name to it: NOUGAT.LF

Then run the game. During the game play you can use the following keys
at the indicated screen. Once cheat mode is enabled, highlight a ship to
view its power, moves, and integrity attributes.


Screen - Key Codes - Effect
Star map screen - Press 8 - Show starlanes, planets
Star map screen - Press C - Show galaxy status
Star map screen - Press S - Show all stars
Star map screen - Press L - Show all starlanes
Star map screen - Press [Alt]+E - Toggle technology stealing
Star map screen - Press 1-7 - Play as various species
Any screen - Press [Alt]+G - Save screen in .GIF format
Any screen - Press [Alt]+F - Show mouse movement stats
Any screen - Press [Alt]+W - Show debug window
Any screen - Press [Alt]+D - Show coordinates
Research screen - Press D - Get all research
Research screen - Press C - Complete current project
Research screen - Press F - Click Show controls to forget all research
Planet map screen - Press R - Bring alien colony under your control
Planet map screen - Press N - Advance current project one day
Planet map screen - Press [Shift]+M - Add 1 to maximum population
Planet map screen - Press T - Create colony on uninhabited planet
Planet map screen - Press I - Finish current project
Planet map screen - Press O - Maximum planet population
